Live! is powered by The Cordish Companies, family-owned for four generations and deeply invested in the health and vibrancy of the communities we serve.

Creating sustainable, inclusive, community-involved developments is our passion. Our Live! districts, concepts, hotels, and casinos are high-energy entertainment destinations that add value to communities for the long term. We focus on making the communities where we build and operate better places to live, work, play, and visit.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

Each Live! district serves as a community meeting place, hosting hundreds of community events every year. We partner with local government agencies and community development groups to build strategies for recruiting and hiring from the local workforce.

SUSTAINABILITY

We’ve been at the forefront of adaptive re-use and rehabilitation of abandoned and blighted spaces for decades. Places such as Power Plant Live! in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and Fourth Street Live! in Louisville were decaying blocks of buildings until we transformed them into vibrant, active spaces for their communities (and award-winning projects for us). Our commitment to sustainability includes energy-efficient heating and cooling systems for major new developments and investments in alternative energy projects.
